Dame Elizabeth has sadly passed away from heart failure. Truly a beautiful woman, and an iconic silver screen goddess, Dame Elizabeth contributed enormous amounts of time and money to many worthy charitable organisations.
Her acting career spanned many decades, and many husbands.
Of us oldies, who could forget the passion that engulfed the marvelously toned Welsh thespian superstar, Richard Burton, and Elizabeth Taylor on the set of the mega-movie "Cleopatra". They don't make them like that anymore.
I was named after Elizabeth, and I am very pleased I was.
