Speaking of needless shit being flung about on socials ...how about the karens bitching about the chants from the YA on facebook

Happens after nearly every derby game but complaints defo seem louder after this one.
The lads leading the bay need to realise that responding “well don’t come to games” and “go support the jets” is probably not the way to go though. Cop it on the chin and move on.

Not just you tbf. There’s been a lot of needless shit flung in their direction both on the forum and on socials.
Not necessary, and not advisable.

Despite all the talk in the build up the worse thing they did was wear blue when yellow would have been more appropriate and a couple of parents left with 5 to go (which other fans do as well).

I was still able to sit near where i do.

I even got offered a TShirt

Lots of families with kids having a great time.

It worked really well if you ask me.

Best effort of the night goes to the kid who had a bigger shit fit than Matt Simon.

About 70/75 mins the sugar rush got
To much and he stomped up every stair with berisha type vigour with every one pissing themselves at him which made him worse and his Dad having a chuckle behind him on the way up the stairs.

So you are saying that we have another situation where the powers at be can’t be questioned, for fear of retribution?
From what I saw, (and heard) at the game, was questioning the colour choice of the all blue Polytec outfits, in mass numbers which looked like we had multiple away bays. Probably wouldn’t have been an issue if we were playing Adelaide. But yesterday, it was a questionable choice.
Along with making our lanyards all blue Polytec and removing the season, which I thought was staple. Yes.. I think that’s also questionable and many said that st the time.
If they are that confident in their power and decision making, I don’t imagine our opinions affect them in any way whatsoever. Doesn’t mean we can't have them and if we can’t voice them, that’s an issue.
Definitely appreciate having a major sponsor and they are making a seriously big effort. That stuff doesn’t grow on trees. Just hoping not to lose the “Community” aspect any more that we already have. Thats all.

I think the flare and throwing things was a bigger issue.
I don’t remember having this kind of feedback after a derby, so I assume it must have been bad.
Disappointing that a handful have tarnished the whole active bay, particularly after the efforts with the banners etc.

One thing that hasn’t been talked about last night but has all season was the fitness
Massive drop off late.

Yes heavy travel but last year we were winning in the last 15 and getting stronger no matter where the contiki tour took us.

Agreed, this was pointed out by people around me too. Fitness levels have dropped off a cliff. We're gassed early and a key strength from last year finishing games strong is now the complete opposite.

It's been said a lot but really, Brice leaving his S&C post has been as big a loss as any from last season's successes.

This is as much on sains, kaltak, and Jacko as it is on anyone else - particularly DPC. Kid was exceptional for the most part tonight. Come at me and tell me I’m wrong. f**kin sick of people scapegoating the kid.

but im entirely with you that goal is on kaltac , sains and jacko.

it was a infantile goal .where they had 6 or 7 guys loitering in our half.
under such conditions clear it to where alou is and fight for it from there .
