ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The Socceroos thread.

Nice shinny goal Kye. What a horrible watch. Good on Lebanon for pushing hard and forcing 2 good saves and so unlucky on hitting the post
We were in the active bay and right behind those 2 saves. For a keeper of his ability you expect him to save them, but in the context of a WCQ when your team is under the pump in the last 10 minutes they were a great captains knock.

Just quietly the shot that hit the post was unbelievable. A couple of the Lebanon players could do ok as cut price replacements if we have another exodus (as long as the vibe manager beats the diving shit out of them).

This team is pretty young now except for the strikers Goodwin and Matt Ryan. The transition is already happening.
Is it? Duke will still start when things get tough. Fornaroli is just filling a gap for now, Taggart meh. Leckie would be there if not injured. Boyle too. Behich still preferred LB at 33.

Except for the strikers is what i said. sorry missing a comma before Goodwin.
The midfield and the backs have changed. Behich is holding on but Bos should be there but Arnie is an idiot. Although Bos is pushing out goodwin for LW but shouldn’t be.
Duke will be fine by next world cup he is super fit. As in Leckie Boyle will make it as well. Fornaroli has just been filling holes in squads, he is hardly a mainstay of the team.

View from the ground.

I'm a fan of Metcalfe but he's been given enough chances and he hasn't taken them.

Not a very ambitious Australian side which I suppose is understandable, but doesn't make this good to watch. I'm trying to think of positives but none are coming to mind

Highlights of the night are the scoreboard showing us as 12-0 and 8-0 up at different stages and the kids playing at half time.
