ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

That second photo looks really bad for the Newcastle club... you have their coach (GVE), next season's marquee & 'star' striker(Griffiths the c**t) & their captain (North) all having a go at once to Trinidad.

If that was the behaviour shown the club could expect a sanction or a fine for each of them or the club itself.

Seriously, what happened to the old saying that happened on the field stays on the field, or the Aussie view that you could go out onto a field, belt the living shit out of each other for a full game, then turn around ,shake hands and go to the pub and have a beer?

Haha ... I wonder if he regrets it ? He looks like such a girl blowing up like that ... I'd say he will be watching in the stands for a while - good to see the scum at the bottom of the table

My question is should he be fined i think yer no one can do this to the ref or player without a penalty.
Gazza i think went to far he needs to be fined.

surely he'll get a heavier fine then kosmina did for grabbing muscat. the douche cant just storm the field accusing players of diving when half his team are pros at it and start shit with them. i would have loved to see one of the glory players knock him on his ass. must be all the pent up frustration of coming last on the ladder and having joel griffiths as your marquee player next season i know that would make me angry lol.

I think you can give a yellow or red at any stage whether the ball is in play or not but only for serious foul play.

Wasnt, just a heavy tackle really.

Serious foul play is a red card, not a yellow.

Fouls when the ball is already out of play are always a bit difficult for the referee.  I've seen it happen quite a few times, and the players will whinge at me and say 'what, so he's allowed to hack me when the ball's out of play?'  Well, no, but it wasn't worth a card, and I can't give a free kick, so what do you want me to do?

I do think that Breeze only gave the card because it was out and he couldn't award a FK - he didn't look like he was going to award a card before he realised it was out.  Look like a bit of a brain explosion.

Greenpole is right, misconduct may occur at any time, including when the ball is out of play, during half-time and before and after the game. So you can receive a yellow card at any time. Even when you're driving home from work.

Or even warming up at the back of the pitch and decide to help everyone out and retrieve the ball and accidentally come onto the field of play (ala Dez Giraldi!). And he hadn't even come onto the field yet, but got a yellow!

When was that?

GVE's outburst was a disgrace and an embarassment to the league.  IMO he should cop not only a hefty fine but a suspension as well - the FFA needs to take a hard stance at this sort of rubbish, otherwise they're only sending the message that it's ok to throw petulent temper tantrums and blame everybody else but yourself (which is a massive problem in this game), and that the full time whistle = open slather on the ref (another common perception amongst players and team officials!)

You cannot possibly allow somebody to come onto the field, abuse the referee in a highly visible manner then abuse the opposing players.

He's the last person that should be accusing others of being divers too - that's another problem.  Diving's always ok as long as it's your own players doing it.

Of course, if he saved his tirade for North for being such a retard as to give away such a blatant penalty in that situation (and let's not forget that North is rather prone to brain explosions in the box - remember the semi last season?), then he may pull his head out of his arse and stop being such a moron.

but no, heaven forbid that blame be placed where it belongs.

What a twit. For someone who holds himself as the smartest man on the sideline, he is a f**king wanker. Even If I were a Jets fan right now I would still regard him as smug and proud.

I hope him and Kozzie both get docked for this.

Rukavytsya's goal that came from Covics stuff up clearance almost looked like a deliberate pass straight to Rukavytsya. i know it wasnt just that Covic is shit but if you watch the clearance it was never going to a team mate

as much as gve and kossie are complete dickwads you gotta love their passion

i'd rather see that then the complete snoredum syndrome ernie merrick instills in his interviews and sideline behaviour

Can appreciate passion, but harassing players and officials as they come of the pitch is not on.

If this is allowed to continue it will only take one player to retaliate and it will be on for young and old on sidelines, and may even spill over into the stands and cause violence amongst the spectators. You really want the A-League to degenerate into Cable TV wrestling?
