ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

This article just blew me away from the guardian http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/feb/04/sky-premier-league-coverage-deal I have cut out most of the article but how can anyone first justify this and second what hope does it give others

Premier League clubs were last night breathing a sigh of relief after BSkyB agreed to pay a figure believed to be in excess of 1bn to retain the live television rights to the majority of the biggest matches from 2010 until 2013.
.
The Premier League chief executive, Richard Scudamore, has spoken optimistically about the prospect of matching the total of 2.7bn brought in under the current deal, which represented an increase of 70% on the previous one, despite the global economic slump.

Don't worry, I'll get some mad Japanese medicine to deal with it.  ;)

Midfielder - I don't understand how you can be shocked at the figures being thrown around??  It's the most watched league in the world - there's hundreds of millions of viewers in East Asia alone, every weekend.  The biggest games (your Man U vs. Arsenal type of fixture) draw nearly one billion viewers worldwide.  Advertisers (and subsequently, the channels that carry those advertisements, in this case Sky) will pay a _lot_ of money to be exposed to that sort of audience on a weekly (bi-weekly during busy parts of the season) basis.

Zimbabwe's annual rate of inflation has surged to 2,200,000%, official figures have shown.

The figure is the first official assessment of prices in the troubled African nation since February, when the rate of inflation stood at 165,000%.

Like that maybe?

Tim Cahill + Jo = Champions League

they did seem to work well together. Got a lot of catching up on the Villians to do if that statement is to prove true though.
