I have waited for a while reading other posts and working out why I am feeling totally pissed off by one crap decision before posting myself.

Being realistic, those in power are selling a product, not a sport.
Fair 'nuff, it is the way of the world.
But since the formation of the A-League I have seen decisions that have damaged our game and the promise of the A- League competition, " the product", by dumb decisions.

Lowey refusing to have an independent board despite Crawford.
Emasculation of the salary cap.
Expansion teams that are plastic.
The treatment of active support being treated like terrorists.
The “big one” VAR. Probably at the demand of the gambling industry, creating more problems than it was meant to solve and destroying match day experience.
The breakaway from the FFA by the A-League with the promise of blue skies, but copping more of the same bullshit.
The frightful waste of money and garbage that is Keepup.

The latest decision may not be the worst, even though it has re-opened a significant sore for any Mariners fan, but it is a the end of a long of crap decisions that we fans have had to swallow with no indication to expect different in the future. The lies, the self interest and total incompetence of those in charge has made me realise that there is f**k all chance for the “Sleeping Giant” in this country.

While I am not blaming my club, like other club supporters, I am wondering whether I can spend more of my hard earned, and even more significantly, my emotional capital on this league.
