And in more news...

http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/news/1015353/Socceroos-coach-search-narrows

Football Federation Australias hunt for a high profile coach to replace Pim Verbeek has hit a stumbling block with Marcello Lippi, Jurgen Klinsmann and Marco Van Basten all turning down the job.

Among the candidates left standing are World Cup coaches Paul Le Guen (Cameroon) and Marcelo Bielsa (Chile), plus a number of unnamed English coaches who have also thrown their hats in the ring.

Kev

Seems strange that James Troisi and Brad Inman [ http://ccmfans.net/board/index.php?/topic/2129-scots-want-inman/ ] are left out while Richard GARCIA is left in.

Good to see Holland there [OK OK OK i understand he is a *!%#) but he is a good defensive mid and it is between Holland & Jedi for that role in the futire... TBH have no idea how Jade North is there ...

Maybe this should have its own thread instead of being on the back of a Pim thread..

Thought about it ... but we are post PIM and pre=anyone else so it is still relevant .. a one off game.

I can see their thinking in picking players in regard to one day FIFA break, in Europe, Rounds 1 & 2 of A-League. Will be interesting to see how they go.
