ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'm with James here, reckon they counted the members regardless of whether or not they turned up.

Dibo, reasonable point but we are not shit like them and we have a shaded grandstand (they dont right now)

Our crowd would be down but not to that extent.

I definitely think your crowd would be down around 4-5k. It was 40 f**king 3 degrees and humid as all hell.

In a article I read on SMH.com.au, they were referred to as the Knights in one paragragh.

http://www.smh.com.au/news/sport/football/a-league/phoenix-on-fire-as-jets-suffer-a-bad-game-bad-crowd-and-bad-result/2009/11/22/1258824628360.html

The Jets concentrated on trying to string passes together in an effort to break down the defence in the second half, but still found it difficult. Whenever the Knights lost patience they reverted to the long ball - but it wasn't any more effective than it had been in the first half. Wellington clearly sensed that as long as they didn't do anything stupid they probably had the Jets covered, and were content to hold the middle of the field.

With Con, Remo and Super coach running it, they will resemble the NZ Knights soon enough.

You have 10 strikers on your books and the best target man you can come up with when ur chasing the game is Costanzo?

This is our main problem. Basically half of our squad is made up of strikers who don't play and/or can't score, which leaves the squad paper thin in all other positions.

wd management.

that would be correct as each member holds a seat whether they're there or not The Mariners do it very game.

If the turnstile can recognise "second entry" then surely the technology exists to keep count of how many have entered and how many haven't

But why count it that way if it only proves 2,457 went to the game instead of 4,165. I'm sure the more people that go to a games the better sponsership deals they can get as it makes the sponser happy that they will get above a specific level of attendence that will see their advertising/signage.

so he is free to play in the a-league in regards to his  because it was from the CSL

Exactly?

Hell if you can get banned in the premier league and still play in the FA cup, why would a CSL ban stop him playing here?

For anyone interested, I have read that the reason sack whack cant play til january has nothing to do with his ban, but instead is because he was out on loan, he cant change clubs until the transfer window reopens in january.
