how come the jets got to wear their home strip against Wellington?

Someone mentioned else where it was something due to nz were against advertising gamblng. something to do with the sponser on the shirt.

They had to cover their major sponsor Centrebet as it's against NZ government rules to advertise gambling.. which is fair.

What I don't understand is why they changed it on the home jersey, not away jersey..  For some reason it really does my head in.  If it were any other team aka us, they'd make us have it on our away jersey for sure!

I can vouch for the quality of the T's. No cheap Chinese product. They are a good quality Haynes T, and the printing is 1st class.

Our Club was in the process in building their own shop, so declined my offer of this one. Not sure where they are at with the official shop, but it would be  a good money-spinner I think. The Club Exec might want to comment here.

Anyway, to avoid breach of copyright from my own Marinators Club,  ;D I've now deleted all items that bear the old Marinators logo, and revamped the shop as 'Mr Celery Of Bay 16 - Purveyors of fine football apparel':
