ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Funny how that hapens everywhere he manges a club. The guy has been a complete monumental failure at every club he's been associated with.

Methinks he's headed for a career change ....  :)

Nae problem .... Hibs will do the job.  And it was a bit hard NOT being a Hibs supporter. Used to live at the foot of Easter Road in Leith ... if I didn't get to a home game, just had to leave the windows open and listen to the crowd. My soulmate was the driving force getting Hibs to stay at Easter Road when they were going to get turfed more than a few years back! :)

H*ll, must be about 10+ years ago now, they were going to sell Easter Road stadium and move elsewhere (nearer to Hearts home ground) . Didn't want to spend the money to do up the ground. In the end the groundswell of support changed their plans. Is was a bit decrepit, but they ended up redeveloping the grounds and stands. Couldn't imagine Hibs playing anywhere else to be honest. They would have lost a lot of support from the locals.

They did the right thing in the end. It's one of the better spl stadiums and it's still in their traditional heartland.

I used to hate going there in the old days(when the massive terracing opposite the main stand was there......before they reduced it's height and covered it).....that open terrace for the away supporters behind the goal.....aaaaaaghhh it was awful and it always seemed to be freezing and blowing a howling gale lol!!

And we were often ambushed by some of the "locals" near that bridge outside the ground !

Yes, well ..... re the cold .... couldn't escape from it living in Leith .... I remember when the Water of Leith froze over ... miserable place in winter, LOL. And the local "neds" were probably full at the time. The new stadium looks pretty good now, but you'd still probably freeze your b*m off whether its got a roof on or not.

An absolute disaster.

We just never turned up.Our season has fallen apart in the last 2 weeks. No goals for and 6 against.

No excuses,just not good enough.

Calderwood is gone along with Nicholl. That will teach them for getting a team into Europe.
