ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Sand Gropers Friday Night

While we haven't lost a game recently, and some of those draws feel like losses, here's another chance for three points against a lower ranked team. I'm getting old and I may be asleep for a 9.45pm kick off on Friday so I might just have to take a late after noon power/nana nap

As soon as we are in front you can nod off. Don’t need to watch the giveaway

Next ALeague game is against Wanderers, silver lining is we have two ACL games between them so would be a good chance to blood youngsters, get some form into the players that are not doing well (Sains) especially if he is on a mandatory suspension, run the shit out of him.

If Alfie is back by then too he can take Steeles spot.

Do we really want to go back to zero shots on goal in a half again with Alfie? Asking for a friend.

WA has been sandgropers for well over a century...
Thanks for the history lesson, professor.

I believe I specifically said Perth Glory. And cobsidering the term had been used a grand total of 2 times in the history of the forum, its not commonly used for the Glory.

Commonly known colloquialism for someone from WA

People from SA known as croweaters.

Queenslanders are banana benders.

These things are probably not as commonly known post gen X. Need a few tik tokkers to start using them again for it to catch on.

Sorry, my bad. I can see how there could be confusion between references to Western Australians versus the only team in the league based in that state.

I can't see the confusion - but I can see the confusion if we were playing one of the Mexican teams.
