ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

First game of the season - and I'll have to watch a replay ffs. Not feeling confident in a result here if I'm honest. Mostly hoping to see the underlying signs of the key ingredients in play and the tean coming together first and foremost

Not sure of injuries but for me

-------------GK-------------

Roux---Tapp---Kaltak---Mauragis

Doka----Steele----McCalmont--- Feijão

-------Edmondson---Di Pizio

GK, Paull, Smith, Kuzevski, Theoharous, Ngor, Kuol

(GK a toss up but Dylan has always looked pretty handy)

Tapp in CB? I think you want to have a fresh CM on the bench. Either play Paull or give Herrington his shot, the Sainsbury issue isnt going away anytime soon so we need to bite the bullet while other teams are still getting up to speed.

I think there's a good chance Ngor earns a starting spot this season. Tired defenders will hate facing him too so either is a win.

I think Tapp at CB and Steele at CM a must. Tapp is superior to Paull who won’t make it and Diesel who is too raw. He is also too similar a player to Alfie.

Steele will add balance to Alfie.

Pete said on the pod it’s a possibility they have been training for.

The young kid who Hain Eames can have some minutes with Di Pizzio or Brandtman or Doka.

Also as mentioned Storm could go in and push Tappy out

If Tapp plays over Paull. And he probably should. Surely Paull has to be given the flick.

Might be about keeping Brian on the left where he is most comfortable as well.

There's been some trouble in the Vuck camp though, with Arzani and Fornaroli on the outer. We get an early goal and they could implode. We need to control the middle of the park, CB is a problem sure, but I'd prefer Tapp in CM for this one.
