ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Really hope Sainsbury is ok, he's added alot of strength and leadership, been a bit sketchy at times but overall solid.

Kaltak seems to struggle when he has to direct and lead everyone. Here's hoping he steps up today

Hope Sains hasn’t been in the gym again…
I expect the same set up as last week, it did work well enough, on paper we’re obviously weaker at the back now. But it’s quite a big opportunity for Diesel to show abit and stake some kind of a claim that he’s a good prospect. Excited to see Eames from the start.

I suspect that there not is a lot of options in a country that has a three figure ranking and where the majority, if not most, of the players are not professionals.
They wouldn't be flushed but surely he displayed some sort of leadership. I mean, they wouldn't have given it to him just because his dad played for the NT.

Yeah, kinda, depending on if in attack or defence mode.

It’s all relative. Hes likely a better leader than some other part timers and he’s likely got more room to think playing against most Oceania sides compared to the AL.

could be that he is a very capable leader when playing with experienced players around him (eg Vuka Nisbet Ballard etc) but struggles when he has to lead kids. last year he had vuka behind him, storm alongside him and balard /nisbet in front of him, that provided him ALOT of leadership cover

Silvera & Torres offered alot of attacking outlets last year as well, meaning we had the ball on the attack more often than this year, Kaltak has MORE work to do due to our dire attack

i suspect he did his best work in front of Vuka due to Vuka being amazing at directing players, whereas DPC is looking to draw on others experience to help him progress.
