ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

A lid was kept on things the other night, in spite of #landscapegate, so long may it continue.

If RBB and NT continue to be known for punishing atmosphere and not for the *small* minority of absolute douchebags in their midst, all good.

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
SO...the RBB spat the dummy and stayed home for the Jets game cause they lost all their privileges(drums, Flags, bullhorns) after ripping 7 flares at their ACL match and it costing the Wanderers $40 k in fines......how many times do they have to be told that flares are illegal?...tell you what, if I was WSW and they cost me a fine I'd lock 'em out for a while...and if they kept it up...well

So the dickhead element in the RBB have stabbed their club in the back with the ACL flare incident and then the RBB as a whole have the temerity to give the club the silent treatment like children.
What a pack of wankers. Stand by the club, not the immature saboteurs.
The WSW club comes a distant second to the RBB egos.

From what I hear, the protest was about collective punishments of no banners or instruments for the game. Their official stance is no flares, but I'm sure they all love them of course, I'm a fence sitter really, but thats not the point. The RBB say "don't bring in flares", some idiot brings in flares, the entire RBB is punished, the RBB getting stroppy for the whole lot of them being punished for the actions of a few.

There are other clubs whose fans point out the f**kwits who bring flares in, for the simple reason that it does cost the club and the fans.

Getting things like megaphones, confetti, big flags, pullover banners, capo stands and the like *all* mean that the club and FFA are allowing the RBB to be exempted from terms of the conditions of entry. They do that because they appreciate the vocal support and want to facilitate that. They do it on the condition that this concession from the rules is collectively appreciated but not abused.

If an individual abuses the concession and commits such a massive breach of the conditions of entry that it costs the club $5k, I can 100% understand the club saying "well, if you're not going to identify who did it so we can ban them from the venue, we won't be giving up these concessions anymore".

Except, the RBB actively support and promote the use of flares. 'No pyro no party'.

I don't know if banning flags and banners is the way to go, but the RBB keep carrying on like a bunch of petulent school children. It's time for them to take responsibility for their actions - although Les Murray weighing in certainly isn't helping.
