ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I think Kaltak starts and it’s a toss up whether John is fit enough for a wet pitch and full match.

So I’d say he starts and Gets subbed by Hall or triantis

Halls form had been below standard but with John not up to fitness he is more likely to be in the first 11 for John or sub him.
Kaltak will get another run I reckon

Interesting the fitness of some key via players ....
I think there’s a couple factors, Tulio came in late. Kelechi wasn’t necessarily late but certainly didn’t arrive early. And I think it’s Monty and the physios being overly cautious knowing after the World Cup there’s going to be stacks of games (2 or so a week probably) so don’t want any major injuries before that. And they can use the WC break to build the fitness more.

personally I wouldn’t mind if the league played through the WC. Yeah 1 or 2 clubs would be affected more. But no club would be losing more than 3 players and most aren’t losing any. Would shake the comp up abit.

From what I understand no competitions worldwide are allowed to be on during the WC

No there won’t be. The fixtures were done with the break in mind so there’s no catch up. You won’t see many mid week games this season at all. Just outliers like our rescheduled game or certain public holiday & ACL accommodations if that’s a factor.

Has any common sense prevailed about the station car park and the new "train or $$" arrangement?
Free on weekends, the gates are down and it reads your plate so opens on leaving. Only costs $$ on week days. A Friday night game will be a problem.

I'm Melbourne, sports bar I've come to won't show the game, just showing twenty twenty FFS. Any recommendations from anyone on where to head?

Same starting 11. Not a big surprise tbh. Monty wasn’t too unhappy with the performance. Big Hall fan, but Kaltaks early mistake aside. as a first time paring, personally liked what I saw of the two.

Fact is, there’s a lot of competition across the squad. Best we’ve had in a long time if not ever. Ruys Kuol and Tulio on bench… that’s Pretty refreshingly crazy from a CCM fans point of fiew.

Physical control of the midfield and a mistake free backline are the key areas we hopefully see improvements in today. And hopefully forward play with with the intent and conviction of our second half against the nix.
