perhaps too early to call for his head, he has signed a couple of new players who havent had a run yet which is to address this issue... the first thing he needs to do is f**k mrdja and elrich off to the football wilderness

that is true, tonight his tactics were piss poor... not helped by the lack of heart from the players though

Elrich starting was his 1st mistake. He has Kwas who would actually like to play there, D'Apuzzo in the NYL side.

no overall as in his a-league career, doesnt do it for me im afraid although i will give him one thing he does always give it 100% which is more than can be said about alot of players tonight

What is said to players in the dressing room, and said to a national TV audience can be two VERY different things.

In saying that, I think a change in formation will be a good thing, with the players we have I think a 3-5-2 will best utilize our squad.

That's the annoying thing. Adelaide are eminently beatable, they were there for the taking and the Mariners singularly failed to figure out how to beat them even when it isn't hard.

Most disappointing to me is the formation we have... Its like we are scared that Boogs & Wilko are to slow so we play two deep mids in front of them ... meaning its hard to attack when you have six back with two wide mids...

For me our wide mids need to come in more because it's like we are playing with two sweepers and two stoppers... there has to be someone who we can pass the ball two....

Also why take off Travis ..... why not take off Nik.... and why play Travis wide because when he was playing in a more central position he looked dangerous...

Some serious questions need to be asked of the coaching staff ... I think there jobs are on the line... 5 goals in six matches and I can hardly recall a shot we had tonight... In fact all our goals have been arsey this year...

Brings us back to the firepower discussion. As i said i have never heard the mariners being described as having firepower and now Dibo, Phoenix, you can understand why i haven't. Even if we have forwards that can shoot (which we do not) its not going to get there for them to have any chance of shooting, Weemac and travis are the only ones to get good shots on target this year and with our coaching staff expect that to dissapear within the year.
