ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Just quietly, Quilligan continues to impress me and has proven a very capable replacement for Gomes. Does a lot of good unglamorous stuff and her goal was the icing on top of the cake.

. agreed (though I don't think you can replace Iz). when she was coming on as a sub she looked quite timid - but not any more ... regardless of whether she gets credit for the elbow or not

. technically she is very tidy ... possibly our tidiest?

Izz and Nunn are levels above the rest of the team. Galic and Ray are brilliant as well. Quilly is very decent with the elbow......on bak style.

while we're expounding the virtues of our favourite players

as rising sun said "if langman was 3" inches taller .she'd be playing in europe"

for mine annabell martin is the most under rated player in the w league .
a warrior who's toughness is already legendary .
Love this girl. Technically she is not massively gifted but she is tough as teak and she is improving every game. Her engine is superb and she and Izzy are the best tacklers in the team. Her improvement is huge as her confidence improves......i'm a big fan already.

Total domination and control. 506 passes at near 90% completion is massive.
Cheap turnovers when playing out from the back was a major concern last year. This year we look so much more comfortable and composed on the ball. I don't think you could wish for a better ball playing centre back combination than Nash and "Tappy" Ray.

For all Ray has been brilliant and consistent in midfield, I love the combination of Nash/Ray at CB and would keep Ray there. As others have pointed out, Quilligan has gone up another level and is a great foil to Galic, and Kraszula looks like she will be more than capable with a few more games under her belt. So I think we have the options in CM to keep Taylor at the back even if we wanted to keep Izzy in the more advanced role she was playing before she was injured.

. good call

. doesn't always get it right - the roar goal and the awesome defensive header at the Woy (shame she was going for goal at the time) spring to mind

. but she puts in a LOT of work (a highly valued Mariners trait) always making herself available. looks to be someone who has had to ... and continues to, work hard on their game

Also, I’d like to mention Sarah Rowe’s contribution, as she has been very good since she came into the side. Has a great engine and works hard up and down the right flank. The shame of her and Martin being so solid is that Puxty is having to play a supporting role, when she should perhaps be starting.
