Cows not so sure, as I expected they are good in the front third however Reds blew so many chances yesterday. The two clean sheets are more luck than good defence, they play some better teams in the next few rounds so we will get a better idea.

Just checking out some league stats and noticed WU had a crowd of 3,400 and the Cows had a crowd of 3,200 both for their first home matches. Clearly being homeless is still a huge factor for WU and even after winning the Championship their crowds are woeful. Likewise the Cows, their third season and clearly have a long way to go on engagement of the fans in that area. Both clubs couldn't be considered a pass mark so far and are not really contributing to the league yet.

Remember when we were in the firing line for attendances? 3k average would have had us booted out. The then FFA really screwed the league for a bit of extra foxtel money in choosing Syd and Melbourne sides over say Wollongong & Canberra.

Yeah I've felt like that for a while, wont be convinced until the stadium is up and running. I reckon they were quietly pissed the name phoenix was taken. A developers favourite mascot for sure.

Geez, you're not wrong. I used to work in the CBUS contact centre....every day we'd get calls from members who've had their super stolen while some c**t who probably drives one of those Porsche SUVs just changes his ABN and gets away with tens of thousands of dollars of theft.

A few years back he was on an upward trajectory with a bunch of potential. Bit wasteful but played hard and seemed like a likeable prospect. That development appears to have completely stalled and who knows if he’ll kick on. Maybe he’ll be a late bloomer like daggers but I dunno.
