ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Honestly makes no sense for Manu to buy us and relocate to north Sydney. They may as well buy a licence to do that. You're essentially burning a region, salting the earth and starting again.

Seems like someone at SMH is shaking the trees for MC

I hope you're right but the article stated that they didn't receive any comment from Charelsworth when they contacted him yesterday. If he was doing this as a stunt, as he has done in the past, he would be all over it.

The investment would be HUGE to get into N Sydney. Its like the Goldy, sport goes there to die.

Sure its a Sydney market but as if the toffee noses there follow any sport other than Polo and horse carriage racing.

Sounds very Mike. It’s everything he has wanted for a long time but the only chance would be him pricing them out trying to be greedy.

Plenty of people in the north of Sydney would love it but North Sydney oval is the worst place I’ve been to watch football

Melbourne City has been average from a fan perspective and actually discourages some fans because they don’t see it as their local team. If they have a team they like in the Premier League it would be hard for them to follow
But as a business model it’s certainly working and it’s improving every year. City are finally putting it together and they do give the kids a go and they get the quality ones.

If this is true then it’s definitely the end which is very painful.

Do we really want the league to turn into this heartless NFL style franchise football bullshit though? Surely with football people in charge of the AL and FA they wouldn't let this happen. Esp if they are losing out on a licence fee too.
