ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The scribe song, Not Many, randomly played on my ipod this morning... that got me way more pumped for the upcoming season than that ad did.

Yeah, I still get way more pumped up listening to that song than any other so far.
Unfortunately it always takes me back to the 1st G/F at the same time.

I think its more targeted at people involved in football that do not normally go to the A-league games.

Im talking about people like -
"the A-league is shit, its just english park football" and the " i would rather watch premier league cos the local version is not good enough" Type of football supporter. Following on from there previous adds which were centered around being there and feeling the emotions rather then actually enjoying the quality of football being played

I hate these people. The word supporter applies in only very loose terms to them imo. There is so much burgeoning talent in Australia we are not going to know ourselves in 15 years time. As a culture, Australians are exceptional in whatever sports they pursue. With small sided games and the technical skills being exhibited by our 9,s 10's 11' 12's etc... the future looks very very bright. And the A league will be the beginning for many of them and our league will continue to prosper and grow as a result.
