There's no way Schwarzer would bother with a wall if Sarkies was taking the free kick  ;D

No I love it. There's a miraculously wonderful absence of sky blue in a HAL add for a change. I might actually be able to hold my food down during the commercial breaks this season. But this better not just be the short cut with a plethora of Bling still to be added in the long version.

Good to hear that they're sticking with Aussie bands to provide the music.

I found it to be a tad underwhelming tbh, but at least I'm not ashamed or disgusted by it. And yes FP, the lack of sky blue is refreshing.

I would've preferred something along the lines of that piece they were showing at the ACL games... do you remember? I think it was "This is the Best Thing"... or something similar. Now THAT was magic!

i think that the 2 different jerseys explains to the viewers that the a-league is getting bigger, getting celtic and fulham to play in australia against a-league teams

The tag is 'your team playing the worlds biggest game' so the reason for adhoc kits and schwazer in goals is to emphasise the fact that its the same game as SPL EPL etc etc. We are playing the worlds game.

Mmmm, I expect your probably right, but some Celtic hoops in the BG and Schwarzer in goals doesn't exactly crystalize that its the world game does it? It's a start I guess. Musc**t  sackwhacking an 8 year old boy in a family kick around would have perhaps been a more accurate representation of our links to the world game.

BTW...

If Mrdja nutmegs anyone at all this year, let alone someone from Celtic,  I'll be a very happy man ;D

as for the ad, not hard hitting enough for me, too light hearted and hardly going to fire up people to get out and attend games
