ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

anyone know the seriously, ridiculous wages these ex ais coaches are pulling in? Ray Junna is a power and pace guy not interested in technical players. Rumours quite a few nyl players (big names) looking to leave under him. Shame as we did so well under Preston and Vaszueq who were on less than a 10th plus of these guys wages!! https://www.smh.com.au/sport/canber...32-defeat-to-cooma-tigers-20140707-zsz4x.html
Maybe, but " big names" might be a tad generous !!! Just my opinion champ.the big names of NYL I speak of are supposedly the future of CCM A League!
"big names" you know what I mean ... get over yourself!Maybe, but " big names" might be a tad generous !!! Just my opinion champ.

I'll put it another way. So big name Charlie doesn't like the coach. He's got two options, whinge and bitch and gather as much support as he can until the coach gets the arse ( note, dragging up old articles on how hopeless coach got the arse) or he can suck it up and understand that he's going to come across coaches that he doesn't agree with and to knuckle down and trust the process. It's an easy road to follow a coach that has liked your style, my young bloke could be in Tasmania with Rick Coghlan ( ex CCMA assistant coach )for that reason but has decided for now he'd rather push on here. Will Vazquez was a good coach and Pete did an outstanding job with the 18s and helping with the NYL I'll give you that but we're on different pages after that, and I'm not saying your wrong only that I disagree. I won't be getting over myself for having different views. Good day !!!"big names" you know what I mean ... get over yourself!
These blokes annoy me. Football skill is harder than to teach a guy to run faster or jump higher.anyone know the seriously, ridiculous wages these ex ais coaches are pulling in? If you read the article it makes no mention of that, and there are also numerous articles saying how Junna taught them the tactical side of the game. Including from Mark Milligan:These blokes annoy me. Football skill is harder than to teach a guy to run faster or jump higher.

Sorry mate didn't mean to come across as accusatory.Did read the article and was making comment on the post .
No I haven't Joe and I can't possibly since I live in Melbourne. But Ray Junna is a former W-League coach of the year and the AIS aren't known to employ mugs. Maybe you are right and you definitely have more personal experience, but I tend to err on the side of caution when accusations are made. All I was trying to say was he does have a rather impressive CV to be a complete and utter dunce, including at the AIS during a period where the FFA was specifically focusing on the development of technical ability.have you seen the level of coaching at present? have you seen the fitness training? do you know anything about the boys and moral at present? You are free to disagree with me as I am with you!
Ummmm most of golden generation came through AIS.So you haven't seen any NYL games either? So what makes you the expert then on CCM if you're in Melbourne? So next time you're on the coast might i suggest you pop along to a training session and see for yourself. He can have the best CV on paper for all I care. "AIS aren't known to employ mugs"...who did the AIS produce? How many great players came out of there? That is bs!! That's why it closed up shop.
should have added 'recently' or 'within the last 10 years'Ummmm most of golden generation came through AIS.

My mistake re junna.Junna is part of the 'Mulvey Gang'. The gang who haven't been able to win ONE single A League game!!

I never said I was an expert, just that there are always rumours on here and you never know the motivation of a particular poster. The AIS produced a large majority of A-League players while it was open, Arzani was one of their very last as is our own Kekeris. Various coaches decried the closing of the AIS and it was only closed because the FFA's budget cutting. So you haven't seen any NYL games either?
