Dibo......If that says Gyozas are unreal then yes I agree! We used to go to a place in Narita when we arrived and just order plate after plate and heaps of beers at a place we all nicknamed "The Gyoza Factory" no idea what it's real name was?

I have two return flights to Tokyo booked on Sunday the 19th from Sydney and arriving back on Thursday morning. Unfortunately I cant go anymore. I have read the fineprint on the back of the ticket and all bookings are non-refundable. However you are able to change the date, time and passenger names on the tickets. So my question is, is there anyone out there that wants to go to see the game but hasnt got flights yet? And if so, would they like to buy my flights off me. The tickets cost me $660 each for carry on luggage only going over and 20kg checked luggage coming back. Anyone interested?
ill start the bidding at $100 for the pair

Well it's a start... Any higher bidders? PLEASE!
$120 the pair.

Hmmm. Getting slightly warmer... Is there supposed to be an extra 0 on the end of that bid? These flights cost me over a grand. If I cant find a serious buyer its no biggy, I will just change the date of the flights to the next stage and cross my fingers firstly that we make it through, and secondly that we play a Japanese team. It's possible!

The following Email from the Mariners Club was received in regards to buying tickets to the game:

Hi Tristan,

We have spoken to the Kawasaki Frontale ticketing people and it works out that the easiest way to purchase tickets is to buy them on the day at the stadium.

This is the information provided by the Kawasaki Frontale Club in regards to purchasing tickets on the day and the prices

I think "yes".

If all tickets are sold out, of couse they can not buy.

But it happens seldom at ACL match.

Your fans can buy ticket in front of our stadium on the match day.

The following tickets are available:

Category 1 (SS) Reserved          Japanese Yen 4,500 per ticket

Category 2 (S ZONE) Unreserved    Japanese Yen 3,600 per ticket

(Good mannered supporters only especially in above categories)

Category 3 (SA) Reserved          Japanese Yen 3,100 per ticket

Category 4 Away Fans Unreserved  Japanese Yen 2,200 per ticket

The conversion rate at this time for the away fans area Japanese Yen 2,200 per ticket is around $ 32.00 AUD.

Thanks

Mack

Get someone on here (Fish or Marinermick) to speak to Ben Coonan (or whoever the media manager might be by that time) for you, see if he can't sort something out for you perhaps??  He did it for us in Tianjin, and a damn good job he did too.  Tbf, you _are_ going all that way.....

Take the Tokyo Metro (below ground) or a JR East Train (above ground - Yamanote Line is your best bet, it's a giant loop of the main urban area of Tokyo) to either Tokyo Station or Shinagawa Station - depending on where you're staying of course, you may arrive from different directions, but trust me, get to one of those two stations.

FROM THERE - head to the above ground (JR East) part of the station, and find the platform for the light blue OR orange line, heading towards Oruna, Yokohama, and Kawasaki.  Once you're on your way, just hop off at Kawasaki station.  From there, you're on your own.  :p

P.S.  About 2% of all signs in Tokyo have English translations.  I wish you the best of luck.  ;D
