Fortunately the studs didn't even touch the shin - he got them down on time. Yellow was fair and no case at all for a red IMO. If he actually got the studs on the shin (hate to see players rolling around clutching the shin when the weren't even touched) with force...it's a red. And all it takes is for the leg to bounce up off the ball and he's gone.

His run was a great bit of work transitioning between defenders at the right moment. Obviously you want to do better but give the man his credit. The real issue was the zero pressure cross.
