Yep he hasn’t been the same on both returning matches so this one will well and truely play with his head.

Will say one thing, 6 points from 6 games is unsatisfactory.

It’s why we will be scraping into the 6 if lucky. Next week will be a very tough game. Lose and we could fall out of the 6 it’s so compact.

The diving and acting is killing the game. Moresche hardly touched him and he collapsed like a sniper had shot him. Same with Kaltak. Its been the biggest blight on the game for 30 years with referees failing to police it. The last time anyone was sidelined for simulation was Perez and that was under match review….

There was no force or dangerousess about it and if anything the nix player got his leg caught under the ball but as soon as the referee goes red it’s not getting over turned but it’s also consistent with previous decisions in that exact same instance so won’t be rescinded either

Look at Clisby, if he gets more than 2 it's a dogshit call. Clisby went for the throat, Moresche was a finger to the face. Comparitively if it's more than 2 we're getting screwed again.

Was the first round and Sasse, I watched that match and he did lunge in and went over the ball and really collected the leg of the other player.

That being said I think the only card with any chance of being changed is Monty if it actually is mistaken identity.

100% agree with everything said. However - everyone is entitled to their own views on the events of the match but from my point of view, if Kaltaks was a red, so was Zawada on Faz as Zawada missed the ball and kicked faz in the calf (where every team seem to get the poor bloke), Faz just doesnt have it in him to go for an oscar winning performance in the Drama category I suppose.

A wellington player went in with both feet studs up early in the match and I dont think we even got a free kick let alone a card. Oh for some consistency

How many games has Kaltak saved with last ditch tackles and how many attacks/goals has Tulio set up when we have won by a single goal.

If you think so. Just stating facts. You just don't like them. The Sydney game was a prime example. Soft red card to Syd and no need to lunge in. Missing an open goal. That's a two goal and a one player swing. For our import signings I would expect more. Sorry if you disagree.

Agree and just more player bashing, wears thin at times. I don’t feel any player in our team isn’t worthy nor at fault for losing games. In the past that wasn’t the case unfortunately.

If that's what you think, fair enough. I'm not player bashing. It's just watching the games and having an opinion. I have said plenty of good things about people in the team when they are warranted, even if they are not my favourite player, especially Kaltak. He was a monster for the first half of the season. Just watching and commenting.

He’s made some great last ditch efforts but you can’t have one of your key backline players get reds and suspensions every second week. There comes a point where it’s more detrimental than beneficial for the team.

FWIW - I think all cards were right last night. No other sport on earth lets players/officials be treated the way they are in football, it’s a disgrace. Monty and the bench need to reign it in.

Yet a few weeks ago he was being acclaimed as the best centre half in the league, with many here singing his praises, and getting heaps of MOM, especially on Paramount.
Amazing how a couple of poor actions by a player who plays close to the edge can quickly change fans opinions.

We will miss his presence badly.
