A long term deal probably opens up our options for getting a fee for Kaltak at some point in the future. Develop either Paull or Diesel, they’re familiar ready to slot in with Trent and we’ve got continuity

I’m f**king ecstatic over here.

A monumental signing for the club, 3 f**kING YEARS too?! I was expecting a 1 + 1 deal. He’s come home to finish off. He’s always been super fit, his defensive prowess and technical ability is exactly what we need and then some for ACL footy, let alone the title defence. We’ve improved our back line at this point.

Sains has to be skipper.

Agreed. I had two big concerns, CB and goalkeeper. The combination of both left me a bit fearful for our defence. This really helps stabilise both positions.

At his age and he has had a couple of injuries it could go either way.

Ticks the experience box and I rate him an upgrade on Hall football wise (much better touch and passing).

If his body is in shape it will be brilliant. Hopefully the fact he has only played about 15 games a year for the best part of the last decade means he is fresh.
