ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

If Jacko were to leave. I wonder if forumnites would consider a replacement who:
- built a new team from scratch and took them to a prelim in their first season
- has a very good eye for young talent
- is proven to be able to work on a tight budget
- based on opinions here (I haven't watched many games) has their team playing a very competitive, proactive style of football?

It's a no from me. Nothing against what she is doing for the women but that would be a massive step up. Would be a step backwards

I know it’s all hypotheticals but Steeley & Alfie’s form would be completely different if we didn’t lose Tapp. Maybe if we had extra midfield depth we would’ve stayed in the treble winning 433 & had more control in the middle instead of struggling with the 442 and 5atb we’ve tried this season.

I can’t see our midfield stocks changing next season so will be exciting to see how everything links together with Tapp back, Alfie more settled & Eames another year older.
100% agree mate. A lot of people haven’t realised just how big of a loss Tappy has been.

That's pretty exciting if accurate. Show us the money.

"#LFC scouts keeping a close eye on Australian A-League side Central Coast Mariners with 16yo prospect Haine Anthony Eames catching the attention of Anfield Scouts."
I suspect it's not true. No sources, not even "people close to the club"
Clickbait.
He has a 3 year scholarship and we need to sign him to a proper contract ASAP.
Hate to see him walk for peanuts when he does go

I thought maybe as they were expecting Sains, MDP etc. back during the season then an injury replacement was not worth it. That is, keep the money to cover losses. Also you'd have to offload that injury replacement player when the injured player returns.

But since this is a clear 'out for the rest of the season' injury - and a visa player at that - we have the opportunity to pick up a free replacement player, ideally visa, until the end of season. Seems an important opportunity to consider.

I hope they're at least looking and thinking about it.
