ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

My understanding, due for an update, is that De Lima is close, maybe a couple of weeks away.
Duarte (ankle) probably the rest of the year. Could be ready to return similar time to Sains in January.

As with all things injury these are timelines and may change or be inaccurate.

Also heard that they were now considering up to 2 injury replacements, but have no idea if that means from the academy, NPL, loans, or from where, or for how long, or even if it will definitely actually happen. Word is that it's on the cards though.
Barcelos?.

Yes a lot of clubs face injury issues worse than this. Instead of complaining about the new S&C coach who shouldn't be to a blame for a couple injuries people should be excited to see players like Herrington and Eames get a chance to become first team players.
“Excited” to see players step up in the wake of mass injuries, 4 rounds into the season? 🤔 yeah, no.

Always excited to see players break into the first team, but that’s when they have earned the spot.. not saying that Eames and Herrington aren’t deserving, they have been great.. but “yay! Another first team player is injured, this means someone else gets a go!!”

Don’t think so.

Historically, we had two keepers unexpectedly thrown in as a result of injuries at 19 and 18 respectively. Without that, their seasons could've looked like Yarin and Jack's did in the last two. They might've moved on looking for a start, away from John Crawley's now recognised influence. Things could've been very different for them and us.

Not saying "yay" but instead accepting we have injuries and looking forward to players proving themselves. Blaming new staff members just because Bryce left won't magically fix the issue

Harrison Delbridge, Johnathan Aspropotamitis, Lachlan Jackson and Aaron Calver are all getting limited to no minutes in Korea if we want a centre back on loan. Tass Mourdoukoutas season has just finished in Canada. NPL options could be Michael Glassock, Themba Muata-Marlow, Adrian Vlastelica, Ben Collins, Cameron Windust, Jake Marshall.

If we want a midfielder Zach Duncan's season just finished in the USL, same with Jesse Daley in Canada. NPL options would be Hamish Gow, Yitay Towns, George Mells, Mitch Hore, Steve Whyte, Kristian Trajcevski, Birkan Kirdar.

For an attacker Panos Armenakas and Pacifique Niyongabirie seasons have just wrapped up in America as well.

Possibly another post you are replying to then and not mine?

Regardless, let’s see how long until Herrington and Eames are injured and see how far the well goes. I’m personally not going to celebrate their golden opportunities without adequate replacements sitting behind them on the bench.
