ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Being quality player in one of the top 3 Portuguese club academy’s is a huge indicator of a players technical ability, I’m excited because of that alone.

His recent goal scoring record in (let’s be honest) a weak league proves his above that level.
The highlights I’ve seen of him show he’s more end product than overused flair. On paper looks the goods, basically.

As always it’s wait and see if he brings the right mentality and mindset.

A classic Monty signing of a great age. Makes sense why there was no issue moving moresche on. Seems to be more of a striker than a winger, possibly.

Needs more defensive cover in my opinion, especially a first line CB.
I would think Doka potentially more likely to start and Roux may being viewed as a utility player capable of covering anywhere across the back. That’s harsh on Roux who was great last season but can’t see the legs coping with the demands of weekend and midweek games thanks to AFC Cup. Hall likely 3rd/4th choice CB depending on how Roux is used, then Windust there too. Don’t get me wrong I would like more experienced depth but that’s a tough sell to an incoming player.

Roux may start at RCB leaving Brian on the left with Doka at RB. I'd prefer to see another right sided CB. Faz can always cover LCB.

Being lazy, what's the player count at the moment? We seem to be building depth, but think we've got a couple more to come?

It looks like (21) 20 at the moment with Kuzevski out with a long term injury. Theoharous has not been announced plus a number of scholarships due in 2023 haven't been confirmed as extended - Di Pizio, Kasalovic, Larson, Windust.

so you think our RB will be playing as our LW.....interesting Archie lol.
yeah haha, the thing is when we signed him they mentioned multiple times how versatile he is and how he can play wing and with the season Roux just had it’d be disrespectful to him if he wasn’t starting this year as RB. Also I’m pretty sure that’s were Doka played in the Cup match vs Sydney (on the wing). I reckon Doka on the RW is better though didn’t mean to have him as a LW ??
