    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Personally it should work like this;

* All teams have a main jersey which should be worn unless there is a clash in colour eg/ Mariners v Jets, QLD v Adelaide

* If there is a clash the away team wears an alternate jersey eg/ if mariners playing away to newcastle we wear a Navy Blue Jersey.

I think each club should come up with an alternate jersey, because i am sick of all the teams (except melbourne) wearing white when they play away its boring.

I love the second one. First and third one make us look just like Boca Juniors.

the only problem with wearing away jersey against teams that clash is that an away mariners shirt would only be worn a max of 2 times a season and that wont be good for shirt sales. I like the idea of personalised shirts but a company will have a contract that states that the away shirt will be worn at away games unless it clashes with the home shirt of the opposing team i.e. if we were to have navy blue the teams that we wouldnt wear the away shirt against would be melbourne, perth and wellington as they would more or less clash. but when the comp expands from 8-10-12-possible 14, there might be a clause that says we have to wear away no less than 8 times in a season

OK, I tried my best to be a bit realistic in terms of sticking to the Reebok templates and not making too drastic a change from the current strip.

But here's a CL idea, complete with a splash of gold:

No sashes.. Please.. No sashes.. The 'Reebock' strip looks fine, even with the gold. It will be interesting to see what turns up!

Is it just me or has this seasons Reebok A-League casual atire taken a step back say 10 or 15 years? They just look old fashion and lame. Last seasons casual atire was much, much better looking.

Also, I've noticed that Reebok have decided to go back to their wordmark "Reebok" on their garments instead of the cool looking Reebok logo. Why? Why? Why? The "Reebok" wordmark looks old and total crap!!! BRING BACK THE LOGO!!!!

Both better options than "Rbk" ... IMO

Does the kit with gold carry on over to 09/10 season?  Or is ACL strip JUST for ACL?

Just the ACL.

If Gold is still required, how about a jet shaped patch on the back of the shorts, and flashes under the armpits?

Thanks Kev.  So what is the deal with there having to be gold on the strip anyway?
