    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

    If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Kelechi John could make his debut for Portugese second division side B-SAD as they travel to face top division side F.C. Famalicão in the Quarter Finals of the Taça de Portugal (Portugal's FA Cup) with kickoff at 5:45 AM tomorrow.

A win could see Kelechi's side face Portugese titans Porto or Benefica in the next round.

Hey..... pardon my ignorance but what is the difference between Mariners Abroad and CCM Boys conquering the world?
I never know which to post in ?
This is the criteria Dibo set out

"We clearly need some criteria for making the conquering thread. What about:
Played >10 games for the CCM first team, and;
Playing now in a high standard league
Top two divisions in one of England, Spain, Italy, Germany or France;
top flight in a UEFA, COMNEBOL or CONCACAF league, or;
in an AFC league that qualifies directly to the AFC Champions League.
Would that work?

That way we get some sort of clear idea on who goes to what thread.

It rules out players like Curran from the big thread because he played youth for us and that's it. It rules out Heffernan because he's playing in Bali and Jamba because he's playing in a university team.

Players who've been on contract with us and who are now playing overseas in good leagues (Jedinak, Rogic, Amini, Ryan, Sainsbury) all make the 'big' thread and the others go to this thread."

Re the previous discussion around why we have two threads "CCM boys conquering the world" and "Mariners abroad". We probably need a 3rd thread "Snakes abroad" so there is somewhere appropriate to provided updates on James Holland

Kelechi John played a full game at home for 16th B-SAD as they drew 1-1 with 11th Penafiel in the Liga Portugal 2 (Portugal tier 2).

The draw sees Kelechi's side remain in the relegation playoff place, a point and goal difference off of complete safety, and 4 points from the automatic relegation zone.
