ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariner stuff not worthy of a whole thread

Ticket prices are a disgrace. The HAL is way, way overpriced.
Look at the BBL - <$45 for a family ticket.
You know how I know that? Because they advertise. A lot. They have posters everywhere. And they all highlight how cheap it is.
So what's the result? They have crowds we can only dream of (of course that's not the only reason).
Pushing $40 for general admission is completely out of control and unjustifiable. The game is not worth anywhere near that much.

$20 for adult GA should be the cap.

I was at a Central Coast Council do last night. They had a video of 50 people saying what their favourite things to do on the coast were.

Ooooohhh, I like the markets.

I could spend all day at Erina

I love the beach.... (yeah OK I'll let you have that one)

oh, I love shopping

I like my food, I could eat all day (you look like you do)

More shopping, more Erina Fair.

No one, not one mentioned The Mariners.

Did you?

Im a brazen person at times, so I make it clear to everyone that if you don't support the Mariners you are not a Coastie in my view. You will be surprised how many closet mariners fans are in the community. Us being shit for 3 to 4 years and the bogans going on about NRL even in the off season has made them timid. Once you make it clear you are a proud Mariners fan they come out of the woodwork.

It was a video filmed before the event. If I'd have been asked I would have said going to The Mariners.
There's loads of people interested in The Mariners on the coast. However I think the vast majority of
those who are interested wouldn't go to a game no matter how we were doing.
Two blokes I was talking to last week who take an interest in The Mariners but prefer NRL told me
they would probably only go to one or two games a season if we had an NRL team on the coast.

Wow, talk about feeling guilty about giving away the goal! Or maybe he’s just seriously addicted to caffeine!

:piralaugh:

In all seriousness, awesome stuff.

Geeze what a great bloke!

Its stuff like that, i love to hear. The boy has a heap of potential. Once he cuts out the massive f**k ups i believe he will be better than Wout.

If Jacob scores this weekend he can have a free 1 hour massage at East gosford Thai Massage or Wyong Thai Massage....whichever is more convenient.
