ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariner stuff not worthy of a whole thread

I'm starting to get fed up with this oily tick snitch, likely doing more harm than good with half truths

Secret Agent: Mariners force players to hand over phones
November 13, 2015 3:49am
The Secret Agent has been poking his head around the Central Coast Mariners camp once again, revealing an incredible revelation regarding players' mobile phones.
I promise you I am not Mariners bashing, but get a load of this:
I understand all players were recently asked by management, and club captain Nick Montgomery to hand over their mobile telephones.
The reason behind this is because management want to know who is informing the Secret Agent of all the in-house debacles!
We understand half the players have succumbed to the pressure while the other half are refusing to comply.
The order it seems is coming from assistant coach John Hutchinson, who is the major force behind these requests. Hang on… got to go… my phone’s ringing!

A young players mum told me it was to keep them focussed. More a move to keep the young minds switched on maybe?

I wonder if "The Secret Agent" could do a bit of snooping around, perhaps use his/her 'deep throat' contact and find out how a team that he describes as destroying itself internally and racked with divisions could possibly play with such incredible spirit and passion...

Impressive. This guy keeps trying to add 2 and 2 and getting 437. Secret agent for football gutter scoops in the HAL? Lol. Why on earth does he bother.

At a guess, I'd say this guy prefers to swallow than spit. :vomit:

. perhaps those responsible for the supposed internal division are no longer in a position to cause aforementioned divisions

. they may not even be in a position to provide 'inside information' nowadays

. or is that too obvious a conclusion to jump to?

*If true*, asking for phones and phone records is problematic. If a person refused, there'd be an interesting discussion...

Yeah, OK, that's f**ked.

Whoever it is, don't let the door hit your arse on the way out.

Actually, in my shock, I didn't read it through thoroughly enough obviously... If the "Leadership group" means senior players and coaching staff, that could almost be seen as a slightly positive thing ;) ... I mean, it's negative that the situation is even a thing, but I suppose a positive spin is that obviously they care enough to want that resolved, rather than just letting it slide and muddling along the way they did last season.... Might mean that it really is down to individual bad elements, rather than general dissatisfaction.

If one was to look for a light somewhere that is ;)

Good to hear FFA involved. They can deal with any integrity issues, breaches of contract and breaches of competition rules, deliver a report back to CCM with recommendations and Bob's your uncle.
