ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariner stuff not worthy of a whole thread

Other rumours that they want Staj.
Or Popa.
Or Kisnorbo
Also rumours that he was pushed
Kisnorbo would be a great appointment. I would trust him to overhaul the culture more successfully than Rudan. They can have Popa or Staj if they want them no major loss there. Monty would make a heap of sense with their academy setup but is he strong enough to impose himself on an environment with issues. Was that part of what went against him at Hibs?

PK was on a pod about a month ago and he very much sounded like he was coming back to the A League. Where is the guess. I suspected The Vuck. It wasn’t going to be City. Maybe pretty advanced talks with the Drive Byes.

Rudan was definitely pushed. Making it look like it was his choice is PR to not overly damage his brand, and in return probably costs WSW less in terms of severance.

Any club in the know though won't hire that toxic waste barrel of a coach

(to be clear I have no inside information, but it's obvious he is toxic internally and also wasn't getting the results)

If he really was pushed, then referring to his mum's poor health as his motivation looks more than a trifle sad.

What a prick.

Typical ABC News and all the other mainstream media. Both Semi Finals sold out - not a peep. Instead they quickly jumped on a story about the Macarthur FC betting scandal. Front page no less.
The sell outs definitely should have got more coverage but I don't blame the attention on the Macarthur betting story.

AFL and NRL have had wall to wall coverage on similar events.

I heard the culutre at Hibs is toxic from the top down. The owner is impossible to work with from a mangers perspective. Also heard NM is taking a break and won't rush in to anything so the Wanders things is a little surprising.

The bulls story is massive news. Would be a scandal in the other codes too. Especially Davilla who is a star player & appears to have been the ring leader inside the club.

Ulises Dávila is one of three Macarthur FC players, along with a 27-year-old player from Parramatta and a 32-year-old player from West Hoxton, arrested this morning over an alleged betting scandal. [
