ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Kevin time perhaps?

but essentially i think they're a good government and that their achievements in the parliament have been terrific.

This.

How is Labour making so many strides forward (Ha) in this set up relying on independants and the Greens to get them into power? How did she get into power in the first place? The fact is she is doing and has done a remarkable job.

It has to be Gillards crowning achievement but is being overshadowed by an opposition who rely on negative spin and hype (toxic tax, FFS how many times have i heard that) and the media and public are eating it up. There was a great article a few weeks ago in relation to Gillard (one of the papers?) and the fact that no other PM in history has copped as much nasty abuse as her and has had to answer to questions of morality from the media and her own peers that no other PM has had to. Never has there been as much made about a challenge for Leadership as in the "fallout" from Gillards successfull challenge. She copped it from left right and centre for doing something that has been common practice in political life on both sides. Why?

Certainly she seems to have copped more than her fair share of criticism and abuse, so you would have to ask why? Maybe because she comes across as shifty at best and downright untruthful at worst. The whole of this can't be blamed on the media, even the opinion polls have her pinned.

Yeah. No Prime Minister has ever been behind in the polls before.

Bullshit.

Comes across hey, and how was that potrayal of her delivered to you? Personal knowledge? Maybe a friend of a friend? Your being told what to believe and your gobbling it up.

Look at whats been achieved. She is tough and not what the public like but an awesome leader of the country. I live in Abbotts electorate and have voted for him many times, but after his display of (well he had displayed nothing noteworthy or shown any charachteristics of a good leader) inadequacy, I'll never vote for the LNP again while he is leader.
