Storm deserves whatever suspension he’s given, mainly for the pure stupidity to give the decision makers a decision to make. He’s supposed to be a real leader in this current squad, all I ever see him do is scream at everyone around him (just like Doka and steely) and then pull that stupid act on the weekend. Along with all the mistakes the players have made this season one of Jacko’s biggest was putting steely and storm on a pedestal. It was let slip in the doco after the GF by Jacko when he said to steely “I’ll look after you next season but you need to work hard”. I was one of Steeleys biggest fans on the coast, had an incredible moment with him after the City GF, but he has regressed as a player this season and neither he or Storm are the leaders Jacko has attempted to make of them. Honestly, many times this season in my eyes, Steely has embarrassed himself with how he’s handled himself on the pitch. To look after them so much through such shit form and leadership just because they stood up in a team meeting and backed him has turned out to be a massive mistake IMO. We were dog shit on the weekend but we don’t lose by that score if we have 11 on the pitch.

100%. A swinging elbow is dangerous, it was a ridiculous thing to do, players know they'll miss games for this. Just so dumb and shows how frustrated the players are at the moment if something small like that causes them to lash out.

Nah, not copping that. Not excusing what Timmins did either and also saying what storm physically did was all that bad. But you don’t need to f**king react that way. ESPECIALLY as a senior figure in the squad. But he gave the ref a decision to make, if he doesn’t react like that and brings attention to what timmins actually did you can just hope VAR goes and makes the correct call. Yeah yeah I know don’t rely VAR in this country, but also, don’t react like a fresh 18yo at the bar who accidentally got walked into.

Possibly a reflection of the squad mood? The cynic in me goes to maybe he didn't want to play out the rest of the season and risk injury with nothing to play for. Not sure we'll see Doka again this season either...purely speculation.
