Mmmmm, seem to remember I thought one of the ACL games overlapping and you could viewers choice over or stay with the post on the other... might have it wrong through... but there's not really any reason why they can't do it that way i think.

Shaw predicted that the Socceroos live World Cup qualifier blockbuster with Japan in Saitama next February 11 would be another huge ratings event. "With an 8.20pm local kick off time, it's primetime in front of 65,000 screaming Japanese.

"The prospect of a spot in the World Cup at a time when the A-League finals are on and with all the big names back? Can you imagine that? It's scary what it could do [in the ratings]."

viewers choice should open the way to simultaneous fixtures in round 21. could you imagine what it would have been like if last season at 7pm saturday night, all four games were on at once and you can keep tabs on the results around the grounds. we'd have known we were premiers straight away and would've had an enormous party there at the ground.
