why? this way we get around the postcount = credibility problem that people often face when they start posting on a forum.

when their postcounts are small, people discount their views, while the views of those with large postcounts are sometimes accorded a greater weight than they might deserve on merit.

nevertheless, if you're especially interested to see how many posts person 'x' has made, you can see it in their general stats.
