Hammers fans have the guilt of knowing that they should be in the CCC because they cheated and then the FA let them off

Oh FFS... Sheffield United's inability to retain a Premier League place was down to the fact that Neil Warnock was unable to figure out what was needed at that level. He recruited, as he had done throughout his time in charge, quantity over quality in the hope that players might randomly come good.

They should ask themselves exactly why did they blow a 10-point cushion on the relegation zone that they had at one stage of the season.

Just because you agree with him doesn't make his a voice of reason.

It's been agreed by all that West Ham breached the rules. They fielded players that they should not have, and in so doing picked up enough points to avoid the drop and Utd went down instead.

Had West Ham not breached the rules by playing these improperly registered players, they wouldn't have taken enough points to haul United back.

What's more, if a team were to do that in any other competition, they'd lose the points for every match in which the ineligible players were involved on the field. West Ham would have missed safety by miles, and United would have stayed up.

Doesn't matter how shit United's manager was, or how ridiculous their after-the-fact bleating became, the simple fact is that West Ham's blatant cheating cost them their spot in the Premier League for at least one season (and therefore millions of pounds) while West Ham got to keep their spot in the top flight.

The Premier League enquiry in their wisdom choose to into the issue West Ham with a not inconsiderable fine of GBP 5m, and that should be the end of the matter. Yes West Ham technically broke the rules on 3rd party ownership and the contract was amended to void the technicality. Sheff Utd and their Chairman are hypocrits as they got relegated for the reasons outlined above, in fact they beat West Ham 3-0 with Tevez playing in the run in. They choose to ignore their own breach of the 3rd party ownership rules when they inserted a clause into a contract when they transferred a player to Watford stating that he couldn't play against them. IMO that is 3rd party influence not an agent/owner saying he wants to get the best price for his asset if better offer comes along.

The out come of the arbitration is a joke, how can the panel state that 1 player was single handily effective for an extra 3 points? May be the northern twats will now sue the ref for the balance of their outrageous claim for awarding a West Ham a goal when the ball didn't cross the line at Blackburn to secure a 2-1 win or Liverpool for fielding a weaken side at Fulham which earned them an likely win which lifted Fulham above Sheff Utd.

I for 1 do therefore not want see these winging c**ts back in the EPL any time soon and will be hoping that Burnley do the business in the play off final.

"Come on Burnley" - Ian Wright, Wright, Wright

'United will try and sue Burnley'
Sheffield United Mad
By Bladesmadeditor Tuesday, 19th May 2009

The Sun columnist Ian Wright is hopeful his former club, Burnley, win
promotion to the Premier League on Monday...
The ex Match of the Day pundit and former England striker has outrageously
pointed unecessary comments involving the Blades in his weekly column in
national newspaper, The Sun. United will of course receive compensation from
West Ham United from the 'Tevez Affair'' and Wright has included the 'Saga'
situation at the end of his article. He said: "As for Mondays Championship
play-off final, I really hope my old club Burnley come up. "In 2000, I
played 15 times in the season they got promotion to the Championship. "Its
a great ground (Wembley), the fans are superb and I really hope they beat
Sheffield United. "No doubt, though, if United do lose, theyll try and sue
Burnley as they play in claret and blue."

Watching the League One playoff between Millwall and Sc**thorpe. Millwall 2-1 at half time. Absolutely magic 1st half!!! One of the best big game goals you're ever likely to see from Millwall's Alexander. Well worth the effort to track it down on YouTube in the coming days.

It should also put it into M***wall!

KO is BST 3pm / midnight AEST as it's a bank holiday in the UK.
The 3 Play Off Finals are always played over the long weekend at the end of May, this is why the FA Cup Final is a bit later than ususal this season as it normally the weekend before hand!

GO BURNLEY!

Another late night coming up for Sacko.....
