If Duric and Kim are out, personally I’d like to see Nisbet get a start.

Also Silvera looks to have greater potential and likely impact at RM than Murray.

Pink... is Silvera in the travelling squad?

Thanks Syd

Interesting squad we have. Lacking a likely 10 plus goals a season striker - but more genuine depth and young talent than we’ve had in a long while.

Pink... is Silvera in the travelling squad?
Yes he is. Not everyone named in the squad is actually travelling. I heard that the ones I have highlighted are travelling:
1.Mark BIRIGHITTI (gk), 2. Ziggy GORDON, 3.Jack CLISBY, 4.Eunsun KIM, 6.Giancarlo GALLIFUOCO, 7.Milan DURIC, 8.Michael MCGLINCHEY, 9.Jordan MURRAY, 10.Tommy OAR, 11.Danny DE SILVA, 12.Adam PEARCE (gk), 14.Abraham MAJOK, 15.Kye ROWLES, 16.Dylan FOX, 17.Samuel SILVERA, 19.Matt SIMON, 21.Ruon TONGYIK, 22.Jacob MELLING, 23.Mario SHABOW, 24.Aidan MUNFORD (gk), 26.Josh NISBET, 27.Lewis MILLER, 31.Matthew HATCH, 32.Gianni STENSNESS
Could be changes and additions - above is all that I have heard.

Purely going off what the club posted on social media today... duric got on the bus, wee Mac and Ruon too.
Kim posted himself running with the physio at the stadium session the other day saying “it’s not too bad”
So Kim mightn’t have travelled as a precaution given it’s a NPL side and with all due respect we SHOULD do the job.
As long as DDS is back and atleast duric starts. We should be comfortable. Excited to see Silvera again.
Not going to get carried away, I was very cocky straight after the QF draw, but logic has me back to being aware of what can go wrong.

Also would it kill us to put in a dominant performance? I get the feeling we could win the cup in a tight game and people would still fee like we scraped by/fluked it. Compared to day the demolition job wsw did.

Something else worth considering,
- a solid performance culminating in a win & thus making the Semi's (maybe even a possible Final) could very well push that potential 'Visa Player'
.... that were all praying for
praying emoji.jpeg
... into taking a punt on CCM & signing on the dotted line for the up-coming season proper.

Here's hoping for all 3 of those things !
(Semi, then Final & Visa Player)

This should be our best performance so far of the pre-season. We've got games under our belt, confidence from the Roar game and most of the squad to choose from. This is an opportunity we can't pass up and like Rowdy said, it could impact on whether we get a no.9 in before Round 1. To get the chance to play in a semi final is a big thing that this club needs.

Solid enough line up, only missing Kim.

Birra

Ziggy
Fox
Kye
Clisby

Stens
Duric
DDS
Oar
Silvera

Simon

Very excited to see tommy, DDS and silvera combine again. All 3 are fantastic dribblers with good speed and touch.

I’m happy with that, feel like Murray would benefit more from the speed and service we’re capable of with that line up but if Simon can keep us on the right track and then Murray kicks it up a notch on tired defenders it could be really effective.

Honestly, with Kim, that’s probably our strongest midfield since dare I say it.... the golden years?

Silvera definitely ahead of Majok in the pecking order already.
