Barnsley's game at Plymouth abandoned in the 58th minute when they were leading 4-1 due to torrential rain. 

Much to the chagrin of my housemates, they won't count and the game will have to be replayed.

Haha, just saw this quote, Even our manager felt sorry for Barnsley. Couldn't find out when the replay is, does anyone know?

Argyle with 2 wins on the trot, can't believe it. Newcastle at home in the FA Cup then got QPR and Crystal Palace in the league. Tough couple of weeks ,they are 8th and 9th respectively and pushing for top 6. 4 points is a lot to ask but here's hoping.

Hasn't been rescheduled yet chief - the snow is really having fun with the fixtures list.  ;D

Its not as bad as 1961/62 where over 350 league fixtures had to be postponed. I have noticed its many of the big clubs with the new grounds still getting a game. Arsenal, Man City etc. Newcastle will be ok to play at home in the snow as well. St James is well equipped to deal with such an issue and of course stadium is in the centre of town. Walking distance for all.

Carle isnt their best player. Its a young kid who they were asking too much for to get out of trouble. Bigger clubs obviously prefer to wait and get him for next to nothing now they are broke.

Crisis-club Crystal Palace have suffered another blow after they were placed into administration, as the administrator will not allow star player Victor Moses to play.

Moses is valued at around 5 million by the club and has a host of admirers who have been circling the striker during the January transfer window.

The administrator's decision is based around the fact that the player will almost certainly be sold in the next week and they want to protect their most valuable asset.

Former Palace manager Alan Smith earlier said that he believes Moses will be sold before the end of the transfer window to "help improve the club's debts".

"Inevitably Victor Moses will be sold. The club have to pay off their debts as quickly as possible,'' he told Sky Sports. "The club have to sell him because the administrators need to recoup their debts and if Victor can give money back to the club by leaving then that's a good thing.

"For some time this club has been on shifting sands and going into administration could be a major turning point for them."


Victor Moses looks set to sign with leaders Newcastle in the coming days.
