ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

This is for Pete...
In the Newcastle "Bannergate" incident a) How the hell did you see what happened ?and
b) How did you get from the middle of the Yellow Army and out of the bay so quickly to be one of the first guys to catch the thief?
Cheers mate and thanks again
Was just in the right place at the right time - was actually about to line up for a beer when I saw the young scummer sprinting out of the bay with something yellow tucked under his arm. Figured “ah, this can’t be good” and gave chase. Most enjoyable bit of cardio I’ve done in months... probably really the only cardio I’ve done in months but hey ho

Excited for the podcast! My questions:

Looking ahead to potential finals, would finishing second (ignoring the benefits of ACL qualification) and therefore getting a week off, be beneficial or detrimental to us in the finals?

Should Matt Simon play on next season?

Assuming we retain the remaining players we want to, what areas do we need to strengthen for next year? If Matty does not play on next season what role do you see him playing at the club? Could he turn out for CCU in NPL2?

Looking back at the supposed Manure takeover of CCM and the speculation at the time that this was the work of a journo doing the bidding of another club to upset our season. Has it worked?

....of Course! Simon is the GOAT and and dare I say a crowd puller. He’s hated by many , and that’s fine by me. That 3-2 Win against Victory will live in my heart forever !

Pete, Luke, Mark, and Morrow are back again to break down the clash with Melbourne City.
Varcical decisions? Well, yeah - who'd have guessed. Can we move on now please?!
This week, we are joined by Mark Brogan - founder of the Central Coast Mariners Supporters Trust - to get an update on how the trust is progressing, and just when we might be able to own a piece of the Mariners!
Of course, we look ahead to the clashes with Macarthur FC and That Lot From Up The Road, and we answer your questions!
0.00-14.00 Fred's Question (brought to you by Adz from the ccmfans forum!)
14.00-26.09 - Melb City Review
26.10-37.57 - Other Central Coast/Australian Football Matters
38.10-64.15 - Mark Brogan - CCM Supporters Trust

If Matty does retire can we sign Bruce Kamau.
Surely he couldn`t be happy playing on the bench with a team in 9th position and he can`t be that expensive seeing WSW are still "under the cap"....

Great pod guys, as usual.
On thing that still concerns me is that my question of whether the launch would be delayed until the ownership was sorted was not really addressed to my satisfaction except to say that whoever owned the Club would make no difference.
I am very keen to get on board, but will not give a penny until the sale of the Club is sorted. I do not want to be part of a trust that becomes something supporting a situation like the Central Coast Bears if the Club is sold and the new owner sets up in Canberra. There must be a commitment for the Club to stay put.
If the ownership is not sorted by the time of the launch it could be a fairly disappointing start.
In my view it does matter greatly who the owner is, especially this next one.

Do you think there's too much throw the baby out with the bath water in all our comments here following the loss last night? So many have turned on the boys and brought out conspiracy theories after one off night, probably out of frustration that it was a loss to the Jets more than anything.

I'm keeping the faith!
