Club Marinators - futsal season

Apparently, and this is according to Sam, taking someone out 1-on-1 or with an open goal is not necessarily a straight red card, but is definitely a yellow and a penalty.

I had about 3-4 deflections or crossbars last night as well.

Mawt used all of his credits in the trials. haha.

Wyoming 12 - Kream Of Kareems Krop 3

Score was 10-2 at half time so they just f**ked around. Kelen said there is no way they should be in 1st division. LOL
they had about 6 goals in the last 4-5 mins of 1st half..
We had problems physically but got our act together 2nd half
tbh there skillful players didnt have much on us- there physical ones did (scored like half the goals i think).
Good Gk I have to say

LOL, I don't think it is because you got your act together - it is because they got bored and started fooling around. That is what they told me. I am sure Kelen, their most skillfull player was all over you... he is one of the best futsal players around. Your players don't even have the right to compare themselves.

And their goalkeeper is amazing - he was my old goalie in U/18s.

Depends on what team you are playing for I think mate.

You pretty much played the best team in the comp so it will be interesting to see how you go from here.

You didn't start too bad but I suppose futsal is a combination of skill, strength, pace, attitude and conditioning. Your team has skill in bucket loads but are lacking in the other four important areas that will currently make your team competitive in division one.

I put attitude in there because your team noticeably dropped their heads after conceeding a couple of goals. Also, your subs and depth are not up to scratch causing them to over-run you later in the half. That, combined with conditioning, is why they over-ran you. The second half is no guide, because as Tyson said, Wyoming stopped playing themselves.

You have the makings of a good side but you need a few players such as herbs-like goalkeeper (laughable to suggest peachos is a gun) and some stronger subs (maybe drop yourself and a couple of others) and you could do very well in division one. You have a couple of really, really good players in the team but a couple of players is not enough to do well in division one.

Anyway, summer football is about having some fun and playing with your mates so good luck and have fun.

Im going out on a limb here..... but even im a better keeper than this peachos character

And I agree 100% with the below comment, after watching you play kareem. You have a few very very good players in your team, but div 1 you are not. As mick said, maybe some better subs and more bench time for a few of your less skillful and strong players

That was by no means a smart ass comment either. You only have to watch Kelen to know what I am talking about... Some of the goals I have seen him score are ridiculous.

And my reply was also no smart ass comment. Kelen was coming thru Wyoming when I was there, if he is still half the player he was then, watch out div 1!

i have to agree with your assessment mostly
but your advice not so much
herbs couldnt have done nothing in that game- peachy made maybe 1 or 2 mistakes- as did there keeper (who Tyson agreed is amazing).
And the reason I am playing in the team is to improve myself of which I know I flourish in a competitive environment of which I am forced to pick up my level of play.

Attitude- we did drop our heads majorly
Conditioning- that will come
Strength- well we will play to our strengths- we will probably never match half the teams for physical strength so instead we just concentrate on playing our style
Pace- I think we are going all right and getting there but it is also something that will come

and heck we arent the worst team in div1 atm (unless Porkchops have been dropped???)
like I said a couple of pages ago- we arent going to win the division but we believe we can challenge for top 4 spot- especially if Wyoming team r the best team in the comp (I'd be worried if they were one of the mid table teams)
