At least one DIV1 team is full of Prem1 1st grade players. Not Prem2 1st grade.
Good luck trying for Div1 indoor.

Indoor is totally different.

Last time i played in div 1 it was with all 18s players or 18yr olds who didnt even play anymore....came 2nd  :-\ *shrugs*

Makes for an interesting season.
Merely refering to the quality of players in div1.

does the 3rd div team have a name yet?

I'd like to keep the emblem design but if others think the name is crappy then we can choose another. Seeing as we may be used by the other 2 teams for players, I thought the name Alliance was appropriate and sounded cool.

Can everyone in 3rd div team wear a white shirt on Monday night to set us apart from the others. We also have to decide on what colour strips we are going to go with and if we want to order custom strips or not.

i dont mind the name, in re: to strip - we could go opposite colour
i.e: predominately navy blue with yellow as the 2nd colour? just a thought... maybe im sick of seeing white shirts from all the away teams in the HAL wearing them

The white shirts are only for monday night training reasons while we will play against both the 2nd div teams (and get hammered lol). Once the comp starts we will have to be different from every other 3rd div team though.

maybe even yellow for the season proper, navy blue as we wont be playing the other 2 teams in comp and the players backing up wont have to change t-shirts

I'm fine either way. I have a white training shirt and a navy blue socceroo shirt I can use on monday. So pick a colour. If we play the Dinamo then they will wear yellow. And if we picked a different colour for our comp, then when backing up just wear your mariners gear anyway.

yeah man i'd say any black/dark blue shorts would be fine.

yeah i think kareem and his mates are kidding themselves if they think they will play Div1.
that game we had on monday doesnt even compare to div2 in regards to tempo... let alone div1.

but 3 is only 50% of a team. Them 3 would easily play div1, depends on whether GK, me and other 18s player can lift- hence y we want trial game.

kareem, I highly doubt your friends are good enough for Div1. You may win a couple of games, as some of the teams really aren't that good, but the quality teams will thump you and make a mockery of you.

I really hope we do play you so that you will believe us...

3 mates-
2 play 1st grade ('only div1' but hey still not bad)- & IMO the better players of team + one has heaps experience in futsal
1 guy who would be good enough to play 1st grade. I think he moved to CC too late this season
I easily think these 3 guys r good enough!
Other 3 players (incl. me) we will see how much we 'drag down' team!
I havent seen our GK play (none of us have )
