ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I heard the new CEO of council is a Hardcore NRL fan....that’s us f**ked then
It would be incredibly dumb for an incoming CEO in their financial situation to be taking action based on the pipe dream of an NRL team. If the council wants to leave the door open for that they should insert clauses for favorable hire fees should the NRL want us and otherwise get on with hammering out a deal with the mariners.

The council has always been full of hard core rusted on NRL folk...in the early days they actually did not like that Football was being played at the stadium... The Northern Eagle and then Manly leaving and telling them to shove it up their arse never come into it...

The fact that, a second Brisbane, QLD country, Perth & second NZ side are all well in front of the Coast for a new NRL sides, does not enter their head space...

I honestly believe they would rather the stadium go unrented if it meant giving Football the stadium cause it may hurt league... The same well not quite but similar is CCL's ....

Interestingly if look at Parramatta Leagues club, Saint George Leagues club, and the West Tigers Leagues club they are all hugely supported by A-League clubs... add the CCL to that list its a tad annoying TBH that Football folk pure so much money into leagues clubs ... but they offer F.... All support in return...

It’s being run by an administrator they had to bring in. He’s a very nice man. Very smart. Very experienced, fix it man here to try and put out all the fires. So there’s some hope.

That’s why I don’t go there and spend my money. I support the pubs and restaurants.

I don't think trying to run a public asset paid for with public money makes them bad people
It doesn’t but they need to have a serious look at whether they’re treading water and holding back improvement. I don’t want the stadium sold, but if they can reach a fair long term deal that incentivises the main tenant to improve facilities, attract more events and help secure their future on the coast whilst protecting access for community events then I would consider it win win.
