ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I think this is a replacement signing...a better version Nik or Dylan.
Tbh if I was in charge, I would get rid of the two, bring in 1 'big' striker as well as the small nimble one.
I think this is just a sign McKinna is looking at alternatives to our current 'target men'.
Mind you I do agree that finding the small nimble player should be the highest priority!

We discussed this on the trip back from Canberra on Saturday.

If Sackwhack signed, there would be outrage on here, lots of whining and that would last until he scored his 1st goal.

At that point, hero status.

Far more likely to remain in Asia or even go to SFC than us or the Scum. Apparently he wont play for Con

Also Friday's SMH has an article saying Lawrie has approached Wellington about Ifill but isn't confident of getting him.

Good to see he is already looking for replacements upfront.

Problem I have with that is ... then we have 5.... Matty, Kwassie, Nil, & Dylan ... all big all run hard ... now add Ifill ... I like to see a smaller player fast and with a good turn so we have two different type up front.

As for Skoko we have enough mids... it's a striker we need...

I think matty works best not as the target man

A-Team said last night that Boogs has gone to Adelaide.

Replaceable ... good honest player excellent in the air ... trouble turning quick ... would miss him but not the end of the world.

If any Youth players are genuinely any good (Sherlock, Smith, Nikas etc) then better look after them quick as John Van Chip of Melbourne Heart says he is watching youth games witha view to signing quality young players (and he has watched us)

ehh, he may score goals,

but fcuk ever having him in our team.
Yeah, but how many did he score last season?
And as for having him in our team.....
Dunno what he's like personally, but he comes across on the field as a sneaky dirty player, does his dirty work off the ball. We don't need goals that badly.
