Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

2 Ex-Budgie players being Simo and Cornwell.

Simo - is at West Wallsend (Wembley Stadium) really good mates of J.Holland - Can play!

Cornwell - strong player, lazy trainer, high ambitions with little drive! Don't know where he is at, if i was a betting man I'd say Toronto?

Don't really know Dane to coment!

TIGER TURF CUP ROUND THREE (DEFERRED MATCH)

CENTRAL COAST LIGHTNING 2 (Matt Kenny 16, 85) lost to
SYDNEY TIGERS 3 (David D'Apuzzo 40, Marino Musumeci 43, Michael Hawrysiuk
54)

Lambert Park, Leichhardt

Crowd: abt 75

Central Coast Lightning, from the NSW Super League, gave up home advantage
at Pluim Park, still saturated  following a week of steady rain, so they
could get their Tiger Turf Cup match against Sydney Tigers out of the way,
switching it to Lambert Park, home of the NSW Premier League team.

As things turned out they probably could have played at Lisarow after all
and, ironically, it was at the Leichhardt ground that the rain began to
tumble down in the final 20 minutes or so of a game that proved highly
combative and provided a sprinkling of spectators a tense finish.

Central Coast Lightning U12 girls undefeated this season.  Currently 2nd with 3 make up games yet to be played.  One goal scored against them.  34 goals this season.

Double header this weekend against St George at the Basin on Saturday & then home Sunday.

These girls work hard and train 3 times a week at least and we have trained every time in the rain etc.  Tuff girls great outcome

Awesome reflection of some commitment to football.

Team also Top regional team on Sports passion website.

Where this info in the news only ever about the guys TYPICAL.

I was thinking about this earlier in the week.

Then I got a better offer to take my daughter to the movies.

Enjoy the pain. The special coke should sooth it a bit.

FFC Mariner, I diagnose that you are suffering from "white line fever" .  My prescription for this odious condition is to watch the last two episodes of Les Murray's Football feature. This will render you non compos mentis until Aug 6th.
