ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

So after Saturdays brain explosion (peak CCM sadly), they are now 4 points ahead in the club championship with 3 rounds to play. Glassock and William out next week too (William probably gone for the season if he gets 3 games)

There’s a good chance William will play this week. :pirashoot::pirashoot:

Peters on the other hand could be in trouble :redcard:

Bad news overnight with Mount Druitt winning the League after their 0-3 loss to Parramatta in the first round was reversed due to Parramatta playing an ineligible player. That puts them 8 points ahead in the Club Championship.

Not that dire yet mick - Mount Druitt have already played (and lost) their final round game v WSW so thats effectively 5 points clear. But it still means that CCM have to win all games in all grades and rely on Mount Druitt dropping either a 20s or 1sts.

Talk about jumping the gun if that is the case!

they have won the 1st Grade League title but the CC is still up for grabs but they are definitely in the box seat
sorry i don't quite understand. So can we still get promoted to NPL 1 if all 18s, 20,s, seniors win and Mt Druitt lose one of any? What does the CC achieve? I'm only new to this football and rules. Thanks

Promotion is determined by the Club Championship. Club Championship points are determined by multiplying 1st Grade x 4, U20s x 2 and U18s x 1 - so a 1st Grade win is worth 12 points, and a 20s win is worth 6 in the CC. With 3 rounds to go we can still pick up 63 CC points and Mount Druit can only pick up 60 as they have already played their last 18s game. So if we win all grades in the last 3 rounds we would get 63 points and finish on 391 points, but if Mount Druitt lose one Under 20s game then they will only get 54 points and finish on 390. It's that close.

Those card might be having an effect this week as well. 4 goals conceded
18’s lost as well. 20’s won

Terrible end to their season today (well not mathematically but near enough)

Leading the 10 men of St George until 80 mins gone and their striker gets away, Glassock beside him. Pearce comes, Glassock stops, Pearce stops too - easy finish and its 1 all

93 minutes and Smillie (I think) bundles it over the line for 2-1 and it looks like we will win all 3 grades.

Corner to St George, Pearce doesn't come for it - free header at an unguarded back post - 2 all with the last kick of the game

Referee totally lost control of the game, Williams would have been badly fouled 6 or 8 times and he was so sparing with his cards they could hack him with impunity. He allowed a St George player to push him in the chest and did nothing.

Oh well, Bonnyrigg at Pluim next season it is then
