    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I think if any of our younger players were where Kwassie was last night the pill would have ended up on the runway at Tullamarine.

I do not know if many of the young players would have been in that position.
Kwassie may be brilliant one day and ordinary next but he does have a striker's instinct to be in the right place at the right time. The goal did not look spectacular but it was a side foot volley and beat Fawlty at his near post. Very competent.

I suspect we will be seeing a lot more of him before the season is out and I hope he regains the lead as the club's leading scorer.

This. Our top scorer for the season is a defender. Even Bojic has more than McBreen and Hearfield. Ibini does not look like scoring anytime soon, Neither does Hearfield or McBreen. We need a decent striker ASAP. I hope that Arnie bites the bullet and ships Ibini back to the Youth side for a stint and drags Mitchell Duke up for a shot at the big time. The more I am seeing of Ibini the less I am liking it.
Our top scorer is Matt Simon with 7;
Ibini looked like scoring with Matty alongside him; Bernie had three chances brilliantly saved by Liam Reddy only a couple of games ago; against the Jets if Sainsbury's cross had been a half metre forward he would have scored (Zwaanswijk scored from the ensuing corner). Bernie isn't lazy but can't be expected to run like Matt Simon, because no-one does,and he is miles ahead of Matty in development for his age.People are forgetting the former Teflon first touch of Matty - for years I sat at Bluetongue alongside a Matt Simon hater so cut Bernie some slack!

The 3 points are sincerely welcomed after last weekend & although it didn`t look good from our perspective I came away a lot more confident in our ability to win the premiership.

With Ryan having a blinder & our back four defending stoutly,i`m confident that what happened in Brisbane last season will not happen again.We were able to soak up the pressure & continue with our natural game even though under extreme pressure.We didn`t panic & still held onto the ball for long periods.

When Griffith came on he looked huge. His size allows him to completely dominate the air in DM & although Hutcho has filled in admirably Griffith just gives us another dimension.

Amini played a lot better than on the weekend & Ibini also looked a lot better.
I thought Hearfield struggled & at the moment McBreen looks the better option.
Although Kwassie scored the goal I still don`t think he`s up to it.A good striker would have been ball side of the defender & it was more good luck than anything that he put it away.(He`s actually missed easier oppotunities)

Overall,very satisfied with the points.

Agreed, to me he looks like a future international player. I think most of the criticism is misguided.
