ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Sammy has really struggled this season - struggling for game time.
Has not performed at all. Struggling. Started off bright but falling back. Also they don’t own him so they aren’t invested in improving him they want results or they won’t play you as well.

Might be off again in January too with how things are going. He might have to step back a level and get his confidence up again

Sad fact is that the players we have recruited are worse than the players who have left.
Edmo, Alfie proving that the AL is miles ahead technically (just not physically) and our latest Brazilian is just not cutting it.
Add that to a disastrous injury run (another Dick staffing choice?) and we will just about make the 6 but no more.
Good times are over unless some serious recruiting is done but we no longer have Serge or ANY money.
Sounds depressingly familiar for a club Charlesworth runs

I think he’d slot in ok with last years team or even just a more functional one. Not spectacularly but fine. Problem is we’ve got 3 visa players that aren’t much better than local equivalents. For now I’ll give Kaltak a pass for everything he’s done but he’s in danger of dipping into that area too.

Imports (or at least most of them) need to be clear starters. Ours aren’t or are only clear starters because of the other options/injuries we have.

We have to remember that since kaltak has been here, he’s had very strong cb partners in triantis and hall, and he’s also played on the left, now he’s on the right and has Paull next to him, and is also captain, so I feel like he is trying to cover for Paull and guide him, as well as adjust to the other side, and the pressure of captain, so that’s why we are seeing poor performances from him, if the same things are happening when sains returns and he takes the captaincy and kaltak goes back to the left, with experience next to him, then we can start to question his performances, but for now, we can’t criticise him because a lot has changed since last season and being relatively inexperienced himself, the added pressure of these things is getting to him

He is able to be called out for poor performances.

Yes the team is weaker and he is missing the quality screening in front of him as well as the experience of vuka behind him.

At the same time, he can't get a free pass for errors that would get him dropped from my kids 15A team. This garbage about him covering for everyone else needs to stop - just do your job.

He was well out of position on Goodwin on the first goal and gave the ball away poorly which caused another goal (and was part of the complete defensive evaporation for the second).
